The applicant will perform a variety of tasks in growing and harvesting vegetable crops, maintaining farm buildings and equipment, and assisting customers.
Minimum 3 years farm work experience; Working knowledge of all aspects of crop maintenance from seeding to harvest; Working knowledge of use of pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides; Working knowledge of preparing produce for market; Proven ability to perform general maintenance to farm buildings and farming equipment; Intermediate/Heavy Truck License an asset, but not required; The ability to work long hours and weekends (in all types of weather); Police Certificate required for all applicants.
