Assistant Director of Rooms

Reporting to the Director of Rooms, responsibilities include consistently offering professional, engaging and proactive guest service, overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Desk, Concierge, Royal Service, Fairmont Gold and Housekeeping departments, leading to consistently outstanding customer service, effective recruitment and training of staff, managing departmental budgets, and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.

Requirements

Hotel Management Hospitality & Tourism degree or equivalent diploma is an asset; Minimum of 4 years as a senior leader within Rooms Division in a luxury hotel or resort; Direct experience in front office work environment; Proven track record of executing complex procedures and plans, excellent communication skills, ability to work well under pressure.
