Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are seeking to fill the position of Assistant Restaurant Manager. The successful applicant must have a minimum of five (5) years of work experience as a Chef or Food & Beverage Server within a busy kitchen/restaurant environment. All applicants must have experience with Jamaican and International cuisine and knowledge of all aspects of the restaurant. Responsibilities include ordering all food and supplies, managing staff and schedules for two busy restaurant locations, filling in when employers and staff are unavailable, and working well under pressure with a strong work ethic. A valid and clean Bermuda Intermediate Driver's Licence is required, along with transportation to move between both restaurant locations as needed. A clean police clearance certificate is mandatory, and we have a zero tolerance policy for drug and alcohol abuse. Pre-employment drug testing may be administered. The successful applicant will be available to work split shifts, weekends, and to be on-call evenings when required.

Requirements

Minimum of five (5) years of work experience as a Chef or Food & Beverage Server, experience with Jamaican and International cuisine, knowledge of all aspects of the restaurant, valid Bermuda Intermediate Driver's Licence, clean police clearance certificate, must be computer literate.
