Bermuda High School is hiring a
BHS is dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors. We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Maintenance Worker to join our team and help keep our school in top condition. The main responsibilities of the Maintenance Team are as follows: performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on school facilities, conducting regular inspections of the school grounds, and responding promptly to maintenance requests. The role also involves assisting with seasonal work such as snow removal and landscaping, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and working with outside contractors when necessary.
Previous experience in general maintenance, facility management, or a related field preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and masonry. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent required. Intermediate Truck License or willingness to get one preferred. SCARS Training will be required. Background check required.
