Burrows Lightbourn is hiring a We are seeking a Warehouse & Inventory Control Manager to lead and manage all aspects of the organization's inbound warehouse operations, including but not limited to container unloading, put-away, inventory control, the efficient and organized use of storage space and maintenance of equipment and warehouse assets. Coordinate the scheduling, receiving and off-loading of all containers. Verify accuracy of product quantities and product condition and report variances to Procurement/Logistics team. Maintain efficient and effective use of warehouse space and the accurate put-away of product by bin location in beer hall and in-bond areas. Manage movement of product between in-bond and full case areas. Schedule the shared use of warehouseman personnel with Warehouse Manager - Outbound to ensure effective use of labour. Plan for use of temporary personnel as needed. Ensure movement of containers is properly planned and prioritized. Ensure all on island product stock is readily available for sale and shipment. Issue biweekly container status report. Oversight for beer hall picking including palletizing of orders. Manage the rotation of product. Manage return of empty beer kegs to suppliers. Train, manage and motivate the warehouse team. Conduct formal appraisals and performance management. Safeguard warehouse assets. Verify inventory levels. Manage and record all breakage. Review, analyze and develop actionable plans for service level improvements. Oversee daily operations in absence of Fulfillment Manager. Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly. Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards. Maintain tidiness and cleanliness standards.High School Diploma, post-secondary degree preferred. At least 5 years as a manager in a busy warehouse distribution environment. Experience with advanced order fulfilment, wireless scanning and inventory management computer systems. Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy. Beverage alcohol product knowledge preferred. Strong computer skills. Good verbal & written communication skills. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Detail-oriented with strong follow-through skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Ability to work as a team player and work extended hours, evenings, weekends, and public holidays. The employee may be required to lift boxes of up to 60 lbs.
