Join a world-class organisation Chubb invites applications for the position of Senior Financial Accountant for Paget Reinsurance Ltd (Paget Re), reporting to the Vice President, Bermuda Regional Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operations including accounting, regulatory compliance and administrative services for Captive, Intermediary and Segregated Account Cell Companies (the Captive Group). With operations in 54 countries, Chubb is one of the world's largest multi-line property and casualty insurers. Duties and responsibilities include managing all aspects of financial reporting, administering accounts payable, premium & claims settlements, maintaining the general ledger, preparing annual financial statements for US GAAP and statutory filings, assisting with ad-hoc requests pertaining to other Bermuda based Chubb entities, and ongoing development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.

Requirements

A professional accounting designation (ACA, ACCA, CA or CPA); Minimum of two years post qualification accounting experience in an insurance/reinsurance company or captive insurance management; Experience working with a general ledger platform (PeopleSoft preferred); Strong organizational skills; Strong data analytical skills (Microsoft Excel); Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills; Ability to meet tight deadlines and work extended hours and weekends when required.
