This role reports to the Vice President, Head of Merchant Services, and is responsible for supporting Butterfield’s Merchant Acquiring business. Key Duties and Responsibilities include maintaining and monitoring existing merchant relationships, acquiring new merchant business, providing superior customer service to merchants, and promoting and selling Acquiring Services and products to merchants. The role entails documenting and communicating business requirements for new products and liaising with internal and third-party service providers to ensure support for existing and new card acceptance products. It also includes conducting user acceptance testing on new products and services, preparing incident reports, and continually reviewing product efficiencies.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications include a High School diploma plus five years relevant banking/customer service experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, an ability to multi-task and work under pressure, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. Previous experience in a Card/Merchant Acquiring product environment is a plus.
