The BEST Group – a group of Bermudian companies providing services in the fleet, freight, logistics, shipping, trucking, and warehousing industries have an immediate vacancy for a Supervisor Relocations and Exports to join BEST Shipping Ltd. on a full-time basis. The Warehouse and Export Supervisor would be responsible for the day-to-day management of the warehouse, storage and export function contributing to the smooth operation of a fast-moving environment. Furthermore, the ideal candidate would provide supervision and support to the relevant warehouse and export teams and manage processes that support the customers needs. The ideal candidate would be responsible for ensuring effective warehouse, storage and export operations.

Requirements

Diploma or degree in business, transportation, logistics or equivalent combination of experience and education. Experience of operating in a supervisory capacity within a fast paced, highly pressurised warehouse, storage and export environment is preferred. Knowledge of procedures and best practice for freight, trucking, and warehouse services. Experience with packing methods, material and conveying specific requirements. Visually estimating goods and packing materials required. Experience with material handling equipment (manual and power pallet jacks, forklift etc.). Physical requirements, the ideal candidate must be able to handle a variety of physical activities from sitting to standing, walking, climbing stairs, reaching overhead and lifting from 10 to 120 pounds repeatedly. Work is primarily performed in an outdoor environment, and the ideal candidate will be exposed to changing weather conditions (temperature & humidity) while performing responsibilities.
