The Berkeley Institute invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the post of Network and Systems Administrator in the Information Services Department. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage the daily maintenance and support activities of our Information Services Department. The successful applicant, working under the direction of the Director of Technology Services, will have the primary responsibility of maintaining the high availability of next generation systems in an academic environment, which includes network and system hardware, software, audiovisual equipment, and CCTV Technology. Key duties include working with a team of IT professionals to maintain the core network infrastructure, managing VMware/vSphere Data Center, configuring Microsoft and Cisco products, providing technical knowledge in the design and implementation of infrastructure, and responding to service requests as per established SLA metrics.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent from a recognized institution. Minimum (3) years’ experience in Information Technology. Knowledge in Microsoft Windows and Cisco systems. Professional qualifications/certifications including MCSA, CCNA, VCP, MCP, or MCITP (messaging). Strong communication and analytical skills.
